We spread this blended aubergine dip on toast with sundried tomatoes for lunch. Excellent.
There is a strong smokiness to the flavour which I loved.
Initially I thought the gelatinous texture might put me off, but on first taste I realised it!s the natural fattiness of the aubergine when mashed and it tasted great.
Highly recommended as a nutritious, quick and easy lunchtime snack or as a pre main course appetiser.
