Pho Broth del Ocean's Halo — Recensione di kyu (30 dic 2023)

I’ve been feeling under the weather and haven’t had much of an appetite, so I’ve just been drinking this #pho #broth plain. Hopefully the various vitamins and minerals (thank you, #seaweed and #mushroom!) will help me shake this cold. I diluted it with some water — it’s a little on the #salty side — and heated it up in a saucepan.

The soup was tasty, but one of the spices was really dominant — I’m guessing star anise, though cinnamon and clove are also likely culprits. I’m not sure if it’s because my sense of smell is wonky right now, but it felt too herbal for pho. However, I’d like to try it again in the future as it’s meant to be served, with rice noodles, bean sprouts, and a squeeze of fresh lime. I believe this little carton was $0.99 #groceryoutletfinds
