I was so excited to try this! I was meeting some friends in Burlington and decided to treat myself to Bloomers. Sadly, it was #lessthanamazing.
Their Instgram showed this as a fancy #latte with #whippedcream and #sprinkles. Maybe the whipped cream is an added cost and not worked into this already nearly $7 #drink, but I was disappointed. The sprinkles that I had seen were actually #pecan crumbs and I'm guessing some sugar. It would've been good to slurp off with the whipped cream, but I do not love suddenly getting little nut bits in a mouthful of liquid. I don't want to chew #coffee , ya know? 😅 I'm also bitter because they left room for the #whip but still didn't put it! 😭
I do love that Bloomers is #fullyvegan and their #milk options aren't an additional cost. I got this with #oatmilk. Apart from the nuts, I found it to taste like any other latte, honestly. At least it came in a #compostable cup!
They used to have a cardamom rose latte at their Toronto location and it was so wonderful. I think I just want that again. 🌱
