I missed out on these last year, so I practically ran to Woolies when I heard they were back! 🎄

First thought: CRAZY SWEET! Like sugar-overload sweet. My lack of this kind of #sweettooth could not. But that seems to be the general trend with raisin and sultana products, they’re too sweet for me. I also think that in general, I’m not the biggest fan of Christmas-flavour inspired products, so I don’t want to hate on these purely because they’re not my preference. I’ve also never had a mince pie before, so I can’t compare it to any previous experience. I will say, I quite enjoyed the pastry though. Although the package says “best eaten warm”, I actually preferred it straight out of the packet!
Although I won’t be getting them again, they’re certainly worth a try!
