I found this flavoured tofu dessert at No Frills. I don’t know if it’s a new flavour; I’ve never seen it before. But just like the mango-peach flavour (also by Sunrise), this one was absolutely delicious! The coconut flavour is very present in it.
The texture is quite smooth. I just ate it on its own, but it would be a nice addition to a cake mix (I’ve done that with the mango-peach tofu dessert and it worked out very well).
Tofu is one of the cheapest items in the grocery store. I paid $1.99 for this package which contains 2 servings. Each serving provides 10% of your day’s worth of calcium and 5 grams of protein. Admittedly, it also contains a lot of sugar (I hope most of it is natural).
I would definitely get this again. For me, it’s a nice alternative to yogurt.
