I really love quinoa, but I never make it because it's so hard to rinse without a fine mesh strainer... I just need to buy one. I used some cheese cloth this time and it worked out, but it was messy. I used about 3/4 cup of white quinoa and 1/4 cup of red quinoa. I cooked it with Edward & Sons Savory Onion Bouillon Cube. This was amazing and I could have eaten it plain like that, but I had other plans. I chopped up, sauteed, and added one bell pepper, and one onion. Then I included a can of corn, a can of black beans, the juice of one lime, chopped cilantro, olive oil, and cumin. This made a super delicious and nutritious meal or side! It's good hot or cold.
