I’ve never had okonomiyaki, and I’m glad I could partake with a vegan version! The restaurant is a bit small/personal, but it makes for a fantastic experience as you see the chef cook right in front of you! I'm not sure if it was intentional, but he also made sure to use clean utensils and isolate the vegan version to avoid touching the other non-vegan okonomiyaki. There’s only one vegan version called the “Vegetable Deluxe,” made with mushrooms and spring onions. Despite being delicious (especially the dumplings made with rice flour), I wished there was another version, especially for those who may not be fond of or possibly allergic to mushrooms. I definitely recommend it and hope to go back one day!

I've had okonomiyaki once by stripping down all that is good about okonomiyaki in a regular okonomiyaki place. #okonomiyaki
