The owner of a cottage in The Hamptons that my sister rented from offered his guests this hand soap to use. If I’m not mistaken, he offered the same hand soap last year as well. This impressed me very much.
I thought this hand soap worked just as well as the larger name brands. It cut through dirt easily and its basil scent subtle / not overpowering.
The bottle is made with at least 25% post-consumer plastic. Although 25% is better than 0%, I expected more from a company that offers a vegan and environmentally friendly product. 
This soap is made without parabens, triclosan (a chemical that could cause skin irritation), phthalates (a toxic group of chemicals), MEA and DEA (a family of chemicals that work as surfactants and emulsifying ingredients in personal care and cleaning products; they are made through a chemical reaction of ethylene oxide with ammonia), formaldehyde and artificial colours.
But the soap is made with plant-derived cleaning ingredients, essential oils, olive oil and aloe vera extract.
If this product is available in Toronto, Canada, I’d get it.
