I ❤️ Dr. Praeger’s plant-based products and have been trying to eat more whole food veggie burgers versus some of the more processed versions I’ve eaten my fair-share of. This particular product does have expeller pressed canola oil in it, but I’ve noticed some of their faux chicken products are made with a higher grade oil like avocado oil. 🥑 I’d love it if they used higher grade oils for all of their products!
Aside from the cheaper oil in the ingredients, these Tex Mex burgers are quite pure and made with whole vegetables, seasonings, corn meal, corn starch, and oat bran. Dr. Praeger products pride themselves on using only pronounceable ingredients, and they are certified #vegan and #nongmo, offering 5g of #protein per serving and 6g of #fiber. I recommend these if you want a burger but also want a good serving of veggies in it.

I don’t know, I bought the mushroom risotto burgers and it turned into mush. Toaster oven gave it some crispiness on the outside, but still pretty mushy on the inside and also when you bite into it. Is the Tex Mex any different? Is there any chewiness to it, does it hold any texture?
I didn’t hate it, it was still tasty with some dijon mustard, peppers, avocado, lettuce, and some vegan Gouda cheese, but considering I’m huge on the vegan Boca burgers, kinda disappointed…
I don’t have anything to say about the burger, I’m here for the doggy, he is sooo adorable I can’t take my eyes off of him ❤️
We don’t have this brand in Shermany. Your dogfamilymember is soo beautiful 😍 I💕🐶💕
