My experience with this #veganfish was okay but not amazing. After really enjoying the Good Catch fishless cakes, I was expecting something similarly tender and flaky; this was more like firm chunks, greasy with olive oil. Something about it — the smell? the oiliness? the heavy-handed addition of herbs? — was slightly overpowering, and it was a challenge to finish the packet. Dressing it up with additional condiments and mix-ins helped, but not enough for me to seek this product out again. The highly portable packets are not entirely without utility, though — they’re full of protein and have a long shelf life, making them a decent candidate for hiking or emergency food.
