Anyone got any tips/recipes for tempeh?
I’ve never tried #tempeh before, but I’ve heard lots of good things about it and I thought I’d give it a try! I wasn’t really sure how to eat it, so I marinaded it and had it fried in a sandwich (like I would tofu) - it was delicious and quite meat-like in texture. Today I had it ‘raw’ in a salad, and though I’m not sure I like the flavour much (it’s quite strong), it was still nice :)

There are many recipes! Try looking for Indonesian ones. For fried rice recipes, you can slice the tempeh into tiny pieces. For sandwiches, I would usually marinade my tempeh in maple syrup, dark soy sauce, sesame oil, sesame seeds and herbs. 2-3 days in the fridge before pan frying and glazing.
