organic extra firm tofu del Hodo — Recensione di friendlyvegan (19 gen 2023)

This brand is a little more expensive than the others that you have to drain and press. It is $5 for 10oz at #target. However, it is delicious! I diced half of it, tossed it in a little bit of corn starch, salt and pepper and pan fried in some oil. I made a sauce to coat it. The measurements aren’t exact, I just threw it all together lol but here is the recipe if anyone is interested to see how I made it:
2 Tbsp coconut aminos
1/4 tsp white miso paste
1/4 tsp chili garlic sauce
1/2 to 1 tbsp agave
1/2 to 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
1/2 tbsp sriracha
Then I made a cornstarch slurry to thicken it up in the same pan that I cooked the tofu in after I wiped out the excess oil. I sprinkled on some sesame seeds, and added diced cucumbers, romaine lettuce and mango. It was super #yummy! 😋

I swear I could eat tofu at every meal, everyday, 24/7 🤤
