
I love starting my day with a hearty English muffin, and these wholesome whole wheat beauties from Trader Joe’s are my go-to for price and quality. For an easy breakfast, simply halve, toast, and slather them with your nut butter/fruit preserve/savory spread of choice, which will then ooze satisfyingly down into the crags and pores. I’ve even used them as burger buns and mini pizzas! At $1.99 for a pack of 6, you really can’t go wrong.
One word of advice: refrigerate! The best-by date is always a little too close for comfort (usually 3-5 days from the time of purchase,) and I don’t think these muffins contain preservatives. Left to their own devices on the countertop, they will grow mold.
