I think I have a slight preference for coconut-based yogurts, but I still liked Forager Project’s cashewmilk alternative. Rich and creamy, it is not; the consistency is smooth but thin — almost gooey, for lack of a better word. On its own, I could taste a hint of cashew, but it wasn’t noticeable when I added berries and homemade granola. There’s also a touch of cultured flavor, although I certainly wouldn’t describe this yogurt as tart. Being unsweetened, it’s basically a blank canvas that lends itself well to both sweet and savory applications.
