I've been baking more of my own breads and treats lately, which allows me punch up the nutrition. So I needed a natural sugar that's baking-friendly and also low-glycemic. Regular sugar taxes my poor body so I need anything I use to be low-glycemic.
Agave has been my go-to for quite a while but for baking I wanted something granular, rather than liquid. I found this at my local Publix so I thought I'd try it. I found it checks a lot of boxes:
