Fried Sweet Potato al You Tiao Mei (Bedok) — Recensione di tabs (16 lug 2022)

$1.10 gets you not 1, but 2 pieces! Of the sweet potato!
Batter is light, relatively thin/crispy, without being drenched in oil. The sweet potatoes actually held up differently in both pieces. 1 was softer/mushier having soaked up more oil, while the other seemed to retain its original form more (ie, healthier 😅)
First time visiting youtiao mei and they have other fried snacks, some local desserts like chengtng, barley gingko soup, chendol, bubur chacha/hitam, grass jelly etc
& other simply local dishes like fishball noodles!
Conveniently located at the further side of Bedok interchange
