Review of BBQ Delight at The Kind Bowl by greenp

The picture is awful but trust me this bun bo wasn’t! Didn’t take a proper picture because this wasn’t my dish but I got to help my friend ending this huge serving 😋 After taking a few bites, I get why it made it to the top10 of Singapore vegan food 2022!

The bowl is filled with delicious fresh crunchy veggies and herbs, rice noodles, generous pieces of mushrooms, some good mock meat and fried spring rolls, and topped with crumbled peanuts! + a delicious sauce to pour on the mixture yourself for the win!

The only possible improvement I could think of would maybe be to make the mock meat slightly tender, but that’s really being fussy because this dish is amazing! Note that the serving is quite big :) Worth the $12.80, though it is slightly pricer than some other options on the menu, among which the absolutely awesome pho which I would always pick over this (but that’s because I’m such a pho person).

My 2 non vege friends found it really good, and one of them - being a meat lover - actually didn’t realize this wasn’t actual meat 😌

To put it in a nutshell, it seems like you can’t go wrong with The Kind Bowl’s classics!
