
As you can probably tell by the dish name… this is #veganized to remove the seafood and egg 🥸 So glad to have tanghoon when bee hoon gets boring 😜
Like many fried “noodle” type dishes, it’s swimming in bean sprouts. Much to my surprise, it wasn’t too overpowering 🤔 It’s actually fried really well to the point where it’s just greasy enough for it not to clump. Smooth pulls for each mouthful #sweetdreamsaremadeofgrease 😋 In the mix of bean sprout, cabbage, carrot, chilli, onions and such, the mushroom prevailed the hero of the dish (aside from the tanghoon). The mushroom with the soy sauce MSG seasoning made this umami for days… 🤪
RM 8.50 is pricey but it originally has seafood, which is pretty expensive in this town… Plus I don’t have the gall to ask for a discount at a private club 🫥
I’d still recommend this because well… fried tanghoon is just a wonderfully reliable hawker style meal 👌
