A pretty decent tuna substitute overall - it's made with a mix of pea, soya, lentil, broad bean proteins & chickpea flour, plus the addition of Mediterranean style flavours including tomato, garlic & herbs. 🍅🧄🌱
The texture is based on albacore tuna (so a little chewier/tougher than regular tinned skipjack tuna). It contains microalgae oils & seaweed powder which give it a slightly fishy taste. 🐟
I used it to make a lovely pasta salad with the addition of sweetcorn & vegan mayo. 🌽😋
A bit overpriced though at £2.50/94g, and I think they can & should do better than a non-recyclable plastic pouch for the packaging.
