went to our local sushi spot and got something new! i was intrigued by what they meant by brown rice so i ordered it and did not expect this at all but loved it. it added a sweetness and texture difference that you don’t get with normal sushi rice which has always been a bit of a texture issue for me after about your 3rd roll. they have a whole page of strictly veggie stuff and there were lots of good options including ramen, bowls, udons and more. the roll itself was just veggies so nothing crazy. a little pricey for what it is, you definitely pay for the ambiance on the inside, usually i just stick to my bomb hole in the wall japanese place for takeout #veganisnotscary
