McPlant al McDonald’s Tesco Knocknagoney — Recensione di King Caro (19 ott 2021)

18/90 I’ve seen other vegans getting into arguments online about whether or not we should be supporting McDonald’s by buying the McPlant and while I understand why some object, I think it’s important to throw our support behind initiatives like this so that they stay on the menu and give non-vegans the opportunity to try it out and see that 1, we’re not surviving on ‘rabbit food’ alone and 2, they don’t have to give up the tasty junk food they love. That said, taste wise, this is delicious and very beef like, and I know that will be very confronting to those who didn’t like the taste of meat before veganism. It still has the same tired sprinkling of iceberg lettuce but it also has pickles, onion, ketchup, vegan mayo and vegan cheese which makes it a far superior option, and cheaper too, than the Vegan Royale from Burger King 🙌🏽 #ashers #pigsnpaws #greyton #willows #mcdonalds #mcplant #veganin2021 #roomtoread #9090challenge #veganisnotscary #veganburger #southernveganupnorth #northernireland

McDonald’s Tesco Knocknagoney

Back in 1954, a man named Ray Kroc discovered a small burger restaurant in California, and wrote the first page of our history. From humble beginnings as a small restaurant, we're proud to have become one of the world's leading food service brands with more than 36,000 restaurants in more than 100 countries. McDonald’s has been increasing its plant-based options in response to the growing demand for animal-free meals. Here are some of the plant-based options available at McDonald’s: Burger: McPlant™: A juicy burger made with a plant-based patty, co-developed with Beyond Meat. It’s sizzled on a flat iron grill, then topped with slivered onions, tangy pickles, crisp shredded lettuce, Roma tomato slices, ketchup, mustard, mayo and a slice of melty American cheese on a toasted sesame seed bun. Sides: French fries, hash browns, apple slices, baby carrots, and Veggie Dippers. Breakfast: Fruit & Maple Oatmeal (without cream) and hash browns. Lunch and Dinner Choices: Vegan Vegetable Nuggets (Limited Locations) Beverages: Coffee and Tea, Soft Drinks, Fruit Juices and Smoothies. Please note that not all McDonald’s menus will have the same vegan options. Also, while McDonald’s has introduced the McPlant burger in some locations, it is no longer available in the United States.
