Unexpectedly nice & tasty vegan dinner considering that the inn is isolated (mountain top): wonderful #mushroom (#SoDelicious that I could not contain a big sound and everybody noticed), lotus slices, sweet potatoes, eggplants, tomatoes… The green powder is #matcha #salt for the softly fried #tempura. The kind staff checked at the beginning of every meal if I was satisfied (maybe their first #vegan order ever so make sure to request in advance) 👍 If the sky is clear, go see the milky way afterwards; no light around so you'll see so many stars 🌌

anzengreen Looks splendid!! I wonder why Japanese culture don't embrace a vegan diet in a popular way? The have amazing dishes 😉🍱2 likesReply
sebastienplus There is progress though: big supermarkets now sell vegan cheese, vegan gyoza, etc., a main fast food chain (Mos Burger) sells a vegan burger, and many restaurants with vegan options opened in Tokyo before the pandemic to catch health-conscious Japanese women 👍2 likesReply
anzengreen I remember Mos Burgers, I eat there several times per week because I couldn't find something better, for sure my lack of "Nihongo" contributed in a terrible way. 😣Reply
rushisushi7 Looks amazing! I miss Japan, was there end of 2017. I used to enjoy T's tan tan ramen noodles at central Station etc. Thanks for the follow! Reply
