Review of Ham And Cheese at (Vegan Food Garden Grove) Inner Peace Cafe by katfrench

The Saigon Vegan menu describes the Ham and Cheese as “Italian bread topped with ham, grilled onions, and melted cheddar cheese”. I was initially excited to see what the restaurant would do with this dish; however, it ended up being somewhat disappointing for me. I didn’t expect there to be vegan mayonnaise on the bread, which I typically wouldn’t mind except for the fact that there was a LOT of it, and that took away from the flavor of everything else in my opinion. Also, I think I would have preferred for the vegan ham to be be sliced rather than minced. It’s not terrible, but I think you’d be better off with another bread dish or entree if you come here. #veganisnotscary 10/90
