I recently bought the Earth Grown Vegan BBQ Tofu Cubes at Aldi’s. I believe it was either 3.49 to $3.99 which was expensive for what you got. I’m suppose to avoid Soy products but how does a vegan do that. The tofu was firm and not mushy. My tofu didn’t look like the picture until I added the Hoisin Sauce.
I ended up putting some extra virgin oil oil in a pan and frying it on my stove (much better than deep frying). I wanted to brown the tofu some. There was hardly any BBQ sauce in the plastic bag that looked like it was air packed.
I ended up putting some Hoisin Sauce in the frying pan to give my tofu some taste.
For the price I will buy some firm tofu and use Hoisin Sauce or some other sauce to taste.
