Vegan California Set al Koku Shi — Recensione di eilidh666 (1 lug 2021)

Myself and my meat eating (but fish hating) partner are big fans of Koku Shi, it’s our favourite place to go for dinner as all the plant based sushi is fantastic. This is a new vegan set including a California roll with portobello mushroom, vegan cream cheese and carmelised onion topping, a “tuna” roll with tomato, avocado and vegan cream cheese, and a tempura tofu roll with pepper, tomato, avo and cucumber.
The mushroom roll was a bit disappointing but the other two were great. I would recommend the sweet potato futomaki (just out of shot) which is a winner every time, we have to order two portions so there isn’t a scrap for the last piece.
