Review of Farmer Poh Wooshi at Wooshi by munch
I enjoy having my sushi rolls with meat alternatives for that added bite that tofu lacks - so was excited to see JUST egg *and* TINDLE katsu in one roll (hurray for vegan options!). Coming with high hopes for my virgin JUST/TINDLE experience, I must say I wasn’t so much a fan of either one. They were both spongy - the “tamagoyaki” in a frothy, airy sort of way, and the “katsu” in a denser, stodgier manner - and sadly neither particularly tasty. I think I might stick to tofu for now :-(
Cashew mint sauce was the star of this roll - loved that one!
