Mafaldine Clay Cafe al Clay Cafe Hout Bay — Recensione di Taz 🐱 (11 apr 2021)

I can’t believe this was the first time I’ve been to the Clay Cafe... Also, that I took no pictures other than of my food 🙄 it really is a beautiful setting! We sat outside in a little courtyard surrounded by planters positively brimming with fresh herbs 🪴 all while chatting, painting our chosen clay items (that will be ready for us to collect in a few weeks’ time) and enjoying a delicious lunch 🎨🍝

I ordered this lovely pasta dish, which arrived at the table piping hot 👌 a minor gripe is that they served it with a small bowl of cheese on the side, even after I’d first asked them to confirm that the dish was vegan.. I.e. why would I want the cheese? Anyway... That aside, it was a really tasty and filling dish.

Would definitely recommend this spot for some art therapy and good food, all rolled into one.
