Wow!! 😍🤩😝
This is a vegan pie made with arugula walnut pesto, vegan sausage, house made mozzarella & ricotta, caramelized onions, sautéed green peppers topped with roasted red pepper sauce. Amazing. The crust is crispy and chewy and the toppings are generous with so many levels of flavor and texture.
The name of the pie is San Gennaro which is a huge festival here in Brooklyn and one of the most famous things to eat is a sausage and pepper hero. They made this unique pie with such classic ingredients and it’s vegan! They have quite a few vegan options that I’m excited to try!
