
The bakers at Wholefoods have created a delightful vegan croissant. Puffy & layered, buttery & flaky. As I recently read: "A beautiful, perfect croissant is puffy because it is “feuilleté”, meaning that the dough has been folded over and over to create perfect buttery layers with air in between". Sold for $1.49 each in the bakery case.
