VEGAN

Rewe Bio

This unsweetened soy yoghurt is disgusting on its own. 🥛 But since it’s thicker you can use it for baking purposes - I made vegan Quark Balls with it for New Year’s Eve. It’s basically fried dough coated in cinnamon and sugar 🤤 the yoghurt also organic but I wouldn’t buy it only to eat it on its own #veganin2020

david- Very easy to make! Combine 250g of plant yoghurt, 300g of flour, 100g sugar, 1 pack vanilla sugar, 1 pack baking powder, 40ml (or more) plant milk, 40ml water with gas. It should be a thick and creamy dough. Let rest for 10 min. Heat oil in a pot until it reaches 180°C. Once that temperature is hit, put in about 1 tablespoon of dough into the hot oil. Use two tablespoons to form a somewhat round shape ha. Don’t put too many into the pot at once!! When they’re done on one side they’ll turn around automatically. Once they’re nice and brown put them on a paper towel to collect the left over oil. While still hot roll them in a cinnamon-sugar mixture :) don’t worry if they’re not perfectly round. They still taste great 1 likeReply
