OMG THIS WAS #VEGANHEAVEN 🤤 Shared it with @quekliuting and it was her first time trying Impossible and she was so shocked by how well it resembled meat! Cost $14. This was absolutely delicious man! The mixture of the sauce with the meatballs and the mince in the sauce was so good! Only complaint was that the balls were on the dry side. #bestpicks After the meal we got to chat with the boss, Nesh. It is always so nice to talk to business owners so we know more about their stories and what goes behind the scenes. Nesh is very friendly and passionate and he is very eager to come up with creative dishes that cater to different guests like vegans and those who do not take alliums. I was shocked when I found out that in the F&B industry it is actually quite common for staff to be dishonest and add things into food that are actually not allowed for guests with special diets. I really appreciate that Nesh makes sure that all his staff are honest and the chefs are familiar with what vegan means, something that many in F&B are actually not clear on. He is happy to help vegan customers and we can also suggest in advance if we have any ideas for dishes as they are experimenting as well. Next time I will try to ask him in advance if they can make vegan ice cream from almond milk, they would need some time in advance to prepare. Definitely wanna come back, this is a very good business to support. #feature #abvteamfoodtography

I've heard about chefs from non-veg restaurant add meat stock & seasoning cos they wanna make the "vegan" food tasty. 🙄 I don't dine in non-veg restaurant at all.

In fact non-vegan stuff can creep into the supply chain at any point in the process right. Everything with the proverbial pinch of salt I guess.
