家人要去桃园吃，这里的食物多数是肉，我特别叫他们煮素食给我。我叫了杂菜加豆腐。真的不错，很大碗，很多菜，豆腐是炸的但是里面很嫩，好吃极了!我配饭吃，多数吃完就吃不下交给家人吃。$22在这样的餐馆不错，好吃但不会很特别。但是看到桌上这么多肉，我心里有点不安。
My non veg family wanted to eat a buffet at Peach Garden, a classy Chinese restaurant. The menu is full of meat dishes and I needed to ask for a vegan dish to be made specially. What I got was of a good standard, though not very unique. I got assorted vegetables in nice gravy which I had with rice. There were pieces of tofu inside, fried outside and soft inside, very delicious. I ate most of it and was very full and my family helped me to finish. It cost $22, I think ok for such a fancy restaurant. I was slightly uncomfortable though seeing all the meat and fish at the table and thinking of the animals that died.

I can imagine the scenario. Animals are our co-inhabitants and friends. I can't eat with meat on my dining table. These days I am quite blessed, no such problem. Everyone knows my style - either follow me to vegan/vegetarian restaurant or count me out.
I am also always in the same situation & my brothers keep tempting me to eat meat. Only twice in my 10 years of vegetarian life they went to veg restaurant because my mum insisted for me. I am thinking to make a stand & not go in future.
