Greens al Hawker — Recensione di supastah (1 apr 2020)

I’d been to @vegextremist in Kensington Market a few times last summer and loved it. They’ve made a few changes since then so I thought I’d check it out. Their new setup includes more inside sit-down dining with minimal decor and that’s all I’m saying about that because the food is the focus. Although I do hope the picnic table in the front returns for the summer.
The one thing that hasn’t changed is the quality of the food. The menu is not extensive and it doesn’t have to be because what they do offer is SOFAKING good.
I ordered the Greens from the Curries selection. I’m not usually a fan of curry but these guys know how to balance all the flavours so the curry doesn’t overpower everything else and the dish I was served was perfect. There was an ever so slight bite of heat but I could actually taste all the flavours in the dish and not just the curry.
And as always the Mint Tea is a must.
If you live in TO or just visiting - put The Vegan Extremist on your list - you won’t be disappointed.
