This dish was a bit confusing as I wasn’t sure if the greens on the side were a salad (if so, quite boring and only served with lime and vinegar!) or meant to go inside the soup? The bowls for each of these were quite small so it was difficult to eat this dish without making a mess. The tomato broth in the soup was nice and there were some tofu cakes which tasted good, but I’ve had better noodle soups elsewhere.

Oh Hey, a Vietnamese fellow here. The greens are supposed to be the sides for the dish, which means you can put it in the soup to add some freshness to the whole dish.
Ah, gotcha! I ended up putting it in the soup but the bowl was so tiny it was counterproductive 😂
Hi Kaylabear. Thank you for your review. The greens is supposed to be deep into the soup. You can add it little by little, not necessary to add at once time :)) Hope you had a nice time at Vegan Zone :))
