Arooga’s was the first Certified Green Restaurant in Pennsylvania; all of our restaurants follow rigorous guidelines established by the Green Restaurant Association. These initiatives include never using Styrofoam, recycling our cooking oil into Bio-diesel, using environmentally friendly chemicals & soaps, and utilizing energy management systems that reduce our carbon footprint. We also use reclaimed wood from fallen trees and barns for our tables, instead of cutting down trees, all of which help to reduce our impact on our planet. At Arooga’s we have awesome, plant-based menu options for anyone looking for meat alternatives or to eat vegetarian. From the Impossible Burger to Faux wings, Arooga’s offers its guests veggie-friendly choices with our unique bar grub swagger!

honestly, not great. it’s cool that they offer the impossible burger here but the option for the vegan bun is just awful. i don’t know what makes the regular bun not vegan, or why the vegan bun is so terrible, but i would highly recommend staying far away from it. it was small, dense, chewy and felt more like a gluten free bun than a “vegan bun”, whatever that even is. i’m only giving 3 stars because it’s cool that they offer at least some vegan options, but i would not recommend this at all.
