Strawberry Cake al Swept Away Restaurant Ubud — Recensione di Sylvia Chew (14 gen 2019)

This was a surprise gifted to us by the restaurant for our anniversary celebration and it was one of the best and most innovative vegan cake i have ever had. Instead of normal cream in most sponge cake, the outer layer is made up of strawberry flavoured jelly which offered another level of texture to this dessert. The strawberry jam within the sponge layer was also made from scratch as i could taste the natural sweetness and tanginess from the strawberry with bits of seeds inside. The airy and moist spongecake brought the whole dish together beautifully. There is absolutely nothing i can complain about it! :D
