Vegetable ramen al Kizuki Ramen & Izakaya Northgate — Recensione di ybhutada (28 feb 2018)

To preface this, I'm a bit of a ramen snob. It's my favorite dish to find in a city, so I'm a bit more critical here compared to my other reviews. The vegan ramen at Kizuki was enjoyable, but I've definitely had more creative vegan ramens at other establishments before. I added tofu, but it came steamed and lacked flavor. The broth overall was good, but it was nothing to write home about. I asked if they could make it spicier for me - a lot of the meat options offered more robust flavor profiles including garlic and chilies - but they couldn't modify their vegan broth at all. There were a number of add-ons available, so in that way, you can build up your bowl a little bit more.
