I do love falafel, but I wouldn’t call this a falafel burger. The patty is made from butter beans and cauliflower, and I didn’t taste coriander. They are generous with the avo, so that was a plus. They chips were crispy but I didn’t like the mayo. I don’t think it’s worth R115. #burger #veggieburger #veganburger #chips #falafel #falafelburger

Overall, a good dish, but I have some comments. The good: the chips and sauce were fantastic! Crispy chips and the sauce, simply creamy and delicious. The not so good: one bite into the burger and it was a bit dry. The ‘juice’ they were hoping to get from the two thick slices of tomato, and some lettuce never cut it. I mean, they could have added some avo, and instead of two thick slices of tomato, make a kind of salsa with a kick. They definitely need to make their burgers juicier. If it already is, then it was probably overcooked.

The butternut soup was delicious. Herbs sprinkled on top made a classic soup original BUT all three vegan items on their menu were not available. There were 4 chefs and 11 customers but they were not willing to veganism any other options. The soup was great, the ciabatta was stale and I left hungry #greyton
