Viva Tacoma in #washington state is a #fullyveganrestaurant. They offer #breakfast for limited hours sundays.All menu selections are comprised of organic, gluten-free and dairy free products. This dish was "chicken and #waffles". The tofu was breaded and really good, the waffles were a little dense and flat (maybe due to being #glutenfree ?). It was a very filling meal with a good balance of sweet and savory with the maple syrup, strawberry-habanero sauce, butter and green onion garnishing the plate. #eatingout

Viva Tacoma in #washington state is a #fullyveganrestaurant. We stopped in Sunday for their #breakfast menu. This was the ingredients listed for this drink were: Cucumber, celery, grapefruit, green chard, lettuce, lemon, kale, spinach, parsley & mint tea. ( #coldpressed ). I personally did not like it as I thought it was super bitter, I think you can do a really good #greenjuice that does not taste horrible by adding more cucumber, mint or grapefruit ir even adding a little green apple. I had to force myself to chug it down #eatingout

aghhh i love this cake so much! though it is pretty sweet, that is to be expected. the chocolate cake is slightly dense, rich, and moist. the frosting has a nice oreo flavor and i think the middle layer might be some cookie cake? honestly not sure, but it’s good so i like it. bonus points for pretty presentation! i didn’t take a pic of the whole cake on display, but trust me, it was gorgeous! btw i know i’ve posted about HAIRY experiences regarding viva’s savory dishes, but their desserts have never ever been problematic. also, bonus points for (of course) being vegan, organic, and gluten free!! just like all their dishes :))

okay the picture looks highkey unappetizing imo so let’s just ignore that smh. i actually ate this back in early may, but just forgot to post it sooo here we are! you also get a side of toast and mine was kinda burnt but i think that’s just a one time thing because i’ve eaten at viva four or five times and never had that problem before, so i’ll just say they have nice toast unless they’re trying to create a burnt toast trend now??? onto the actual mac, it contains a few breadcrumbs in it for some extra crunch (less than i remembered) and the sauce is a little too tangy and sour for my taste at times. it doesn’t really taste like actual mac n cheese, but it’s still tasty enough. i was craving their mac for a while, but it just didn’t exactly taste how i remembered it? maybe my tastebuds changed or something, i dunno. also, i could be seeing things but i might’ve found a small hair or SOMETHING in it which is why i’m highkey scared to go back to viva because i swear i’ve found like hairs on three separate occasions now which umm isn’t a good thing OBVIOUSLY haha. sooo yeah the mac n cheese itself isn’t amazing but still decent, but i think they need to ummm stop putting hair in their food…that’s not seasoning…
