I've been having people tell me I need to go to The Stray Dog for years. It's a burger place, but they have a lot of veggie options. Whenever I would look at the menu, I saw lots of vegetarian, but it was hard to tell if much could be made vegan. I met my family here before going across the river for the Stone Arch Bridge festival this week. Even on the in-person menu, it was a bit hard to tell what could be vegan. I wasn't sure if they had vegan mayo or aiolis. I saw this vegetarian club featuring The Herbivorous Butcher turkey, ham, and bacon. Before I became vegetarian, I loved club sandwiches! I was excited to see this on the menu, so I asked the server if it could be vegan. I was very happy to find out that they do have vegan mayo! I'd just go in willing to ask about stuff on the vegetarian menu. I'm sure most of it can be made vegan. This club was great, but I have yet to find a club that really blows me away. I think what this was missing was the crispiness. I loved the HB meats, but the bacon should have been a different texture than the turkey and ham. I want crispy bacon on my club! Francis' bacon could do the trick! I was very happy they had vegan mayo. It was very important for bringing the sandwich together. I was a bit disappointed in the tomato. Tomatoes like these are why it took me so long to come around to tomatoes. It was definitely not very fresh. This was an excellent burger for a night out with friends! It comes with their house-made vegan patty, which has a delicious taste snd texture, and double vegan cheese.

First time having a beet burger , it was odd to see the color , almost like a very rare cow burger. But the taste was amazing and left me with Zero guilt !

It was a beet burger I believe. First one I’ve ever had. Liquid smoke flavor. I liked the outside of the burger but the inside was too mushy for my taste. Fries were 10/10!!!

The presentation was so good I had to ask the food runner to please double check with the kitchen staff that they did make it with impossible beef because she didnt look too sure herself! Must order without egg. This isn't something I'll go out of my way for again but I just had to try it because I did love tartare in my previous life. The taste was pretty good, the texture was definitely impossible! Super original. Appreciate them thinking outside the box on this.

All presentation and no flavor. Super disappointed in this. Only took a few bites with ketchup then decided to bring the rest home to add cheeze and possibly my own easy aioli sauce for more flavor. The texture was perfect though and my tater tots were great.

Literally the BEST vegan burger I've had in the past 7 years. It has incredible flavor, beautiful color, and the vegan bacon mayo rocks. I love that fruit is an option as a side and that it's always fresh :) #roosterredemption
