Original and tasty side dish made with mushrooms accompanied by a sweet chilli sauce. It does remind you to those squid rings you used to eat before you realized it wasn't fair on them. It is not a copy cat thought, it has it's own flavour and texture which are both great and nutritionally much better that an imitation processed product.

An incredibly orginal substitute for traditional fish and chips made of banana blossom. It is tasty and nutritious, no so much as a perfect copy as flavour and texture are not as perfectly similar as they would be with a more processed product but definitely preferable and surprising in a positive way. I've got to say, however, that the best part was the vegan tartare sauce. I fully recommend trying these out when visiting the old and enchanted Plymouth Barbican streets.

Delicious banana blossom “fish”. Large portion, impressive texture, and once battered and dipped in sauce, a very good mock-cod.
