Thank you @david- for putting this place on the map! We tried several places but none of them had their “fresh” vegan #stroopwafel available 😫 Meanwhile this had mixed reviews because it’s supposedly a “tourist trap” 🪤 This shop charges €10 a piece, sure, but they make the entire thing in front of your eyes and you get such a lovely experience watching them make it in the super cute shop 👨‍🍳 The rhythm of pressing the dough, baking it, cutting it, cleaning the instrument, and perfectly ladelling the syrup was so soothing! 🤩 You even get a towel to clean up after! You know… for your drool 🤤 I thought the issue with tourism was when local foods got gentrified so much to the point that the locals cannot afford the food 🙄 This is absolutely not the case here and I’m inspired by the kind of thinking that says it is 🙃 This was good, really good! Not everyone likes it too droopy and this one had a nice crunch 🗣️ to it! They sell also the vegan stroopwafels ready-made & to-go and a #glutenfree option too! The latter unfortunately is not available fresh 🙅‍♀️

The large #veganstroopwafel was an #indulgent #treat, capturing the essence of this beloved #Dutch 🇳🇱 confection while being entirely plant-based. The stroopwafel consists of two thin, crispy #waffles sandwiching a luscious layer of #caramel-like #syrup, which is rich and gooey #sweettooth #dutchvegan #dutchfood One half of this #delightful stroopwafel is dipped in #darkchocolate, adding a rich and slightly bitter contrast to the sweet syrup filling. The dark #chocolate 🍫 coating is smooth and glossy, and because the waffles are #fresh and warm, it melts into every crevice #chocoholic #teamdarkchocolate To enhance the #decadence, this chocolate-dipped half is topped with a generous sprinkle of #Oreo Oreo #crumbs. The Oreo pieces add an extra layer of crunch and a delightful #cookiesandcream flavor that complements the dark chocolate beautifully.
