Chocolate and date cake with flaked almonds. 3.50€ Dense , dark and delicious. Just the right combo of bitter and sweet . This is a new local* Papas Elvira has opened a new bigger place with loads of seating and bathrooms . The delightful owner is so happy with this new venture and I wish her every success. She is one of the hardest working and friendly people in business. It’s not all vegan sadly but she has more options than most . There still is the original smaller place of the same name but this one is close to Puerta Elvira which is the original entrance to the historic centre - ALBAYZIN. This is not my usual at Papas Elvira but thought I’d give it a try. It was not so good the bread was soft white burger roll my least favourite and poor nutritionally. The burger and salad was disappointing too but it is a cheap quick meal.@ 4.50€ Luckily the lemonade with mint was deliciously refreshing on a hot summer night in Granada . #veganisbetter #meatismurder #cowlover

Papas Elvira although not totally vegan it is my favourite wee place to eat out here . Partly because it’s one of the few places that has good very affordable and tasty food but also because the owner and staff are always so lovely . This plate is 6€ and has been the same price for years . Love 🥰 this. #papaselvira
