An amazing salad by all accounts! To veganize it requested a different dressing, this one had horseradish in it and was so punchy!! The tofu is really saucy, chewy and flavourful. The bed of lettuce was fresh and crisp! Surprisingly very filling as well. #healthy

These #veggiespringrolls were definitely above average. Super crispy, and a very chewy, meaty filling of mushrooms, carrots and cabbage that really gave it an umami punch. The sauce was a little spicy, sweet, acidic, perfect to contrast. #sweetdreamsaremadeofgrease

These tofu bites are super delicious. Super well marinated, very saucy, they were a bit reminiscent of wings. It comes with a cream cheese dip that was not vegan but I enjoyed the tofu on its own. #tofulover

These are very unique fries! Potato, sweet potato and taro! They were all super delicious. The mayo on the side was not vegan. Gotta love fries #sweetdreamsaremadeofgrease

Lok-Lak is a traditional Khmer dish normally consisting of stir-fried beef in a sweet sauce accompanied by a lime, salt and pepper sauce, that is supposed to be very peppery! I tend to love the vegan versions of this dish, especially when they contain #tempeh! This one was decent, however the tempeh had a bit of a bitter taste (guess they didn’t boil it) and was some really big chunks that didn’t let the sauce get inside.

Maloop is a gorgeous restaurant situated in a huge garden with lots of nice alcoves and greenery around. I had this #mushroommasterpiece (please make this a new trending hashtag), which had black mushrooms, tofu skin, cashews, carrots and onions with a coriander ginger and soy dressing. This was absolutely delicious! So flavourful with a nice variety of textures. The portion was a little small tho, especially for 5.50$ Wish I had more! #mushroomlover

This didn’t look like much, but it was very tasty! The stir fry came with a rich sauce and the tempeh was cooked really well.

If you like a sorbet that is sweet but also lip puckering, this is a good one! Zesty and sour from the passion fruit and sweet from the mango, it was a great combo.

This restaurant is gorgeous, lovely outdoor seating amongst a green garden, with fantastic decor. This curry was very rich and creamy and had lots of little chopped up veggies inside. I enjoyed it! But nothing unique about it really.

Can you tell by my feed that I’m obsessed with fresh spring rolls? I think I’m a connoisseur at this point. These ones were good but nothing amazing, the sauce not flavourful enough (and not enough of it) and the wraps were a bit lacklustre. Definitely no spice whatsoever despite the name.
