I got the chicken one , they were out of Omni pork when I went . Crisp thin crust. Puerto Rican-style empanadas by Casa Borinquena. Tartar sauce like , I guess red from paprika ?

I’ve rarely seen a vegan patty melt so was very happy with this (along with my favorite Coffee Chocolate milk shake).

Made with Eclipse brand chocolate ice cream, I unwisely asked to mix it with the peanut (NOT peanut butter) flavor---big error! The texture was great and the chocolate flavor good, but the peanut pieces had an almost artificial candy flavor to them which nearly ruined the shake. Don't make my same mistake! Stick with regular chocolate 😉

From their menu: "Wedges w/ garlic, parsley, and parmesan cheese" Tons of garlic, but didn't taste all that garlicky, if that makes sense? Bc they were wedges with Parm, they were kinda dry and needed ketchup. Pretty good.

From their menu: "Fried "chicken" patty, Follow Your Heart Mozzarella, Marinara Sauce, Basil, on a Brioche Bun." The sauce was a little too sweet for my liking, but this was pretty good. Decent size; couldn't finish the whole thing.

So sweet and delicious! It is made with Eclipse ice cream, a local brand. It is a little pricey for the size, but worth it since it's very unique!

This plant-based chicken burger was great. It had a fried chicken patty, bacon, lettuce, tomato, caramelized onions, and BBQ sauce on a brioche bun. It was very flavorful and satisfying. Malibu's Burgers, originally a food truck, now has a new brick and mortar restaurant in Oakland. It is 100% vegan, and 100% delicious!
