I of course got the vegan hot dogs at IKEA. I then decided to have #fries at the restaurant. They were so delicious lol! And a good size for around $3.50.

My friend got this today when we went to Ikea for lunch. I got the veggie dogs, but I have already reviewed them LOL! This had #cucumbers, #tomatoes, leafy greens, #carrots and a #balsamic dressing. She liked it because it was a #fresh side to her main. It was $2.99. It is interesting because Ikea had so many signs preaching sustainability but then were focusing on the slamon being sustainably fished...laaammmeee. Also they went on about their plant-based options, but they only really have a veggie dog, veggie balls and strawberry ice cream. And I guess this side #salad. Better than nothing, but it seemed to be a lot of attention to them being plant-based and not having a lot to show for it.

I had a feeling I wouldn't like this but I wanted to try it anyway lol. I wasn't expecting much for a $7 plate. The vegetable balls were decent, I would eat it again. The chili lemongrass aioli was ok, on the verge of nay. The mixed vegetables was actually disgusting. It had absolutely no seasoning and tasted like mush. The corn tasted like it was just defrosted. I went to the screen where you could check the nutritional information (second pic) which confirmed that the vegetables actually had no seasoning ...not even salt - why!?!

Never have I ever had a mustard that had dill in it. Like whaaaa?!?! These go perfectly with the sweedish vegan meatballs and with sandwiches. Yum. Seriously, yum!

You have to get the lingonberry drink if you're at Ikea! It brought me back to childhood when we'd go to Ikea on weekends and I'd fill up on this delicious drink. Tart, sweet and juicy. Yum!!!

I looove the toppings. It is sooo perfect! I wanted to get like 10 of them, as they are only $1, but they are filling! So great.

Soooo exciting to try the Ikea vegan ice cream! It was a bit stiff at first, but when it melted down, it was great. Loved the flavour! Only $1!!!! My friend and I also got the vegan hot dogs, also $1. Love it!

Not to be confused with the plant balls dish that has mashed potatoes, the veggie balls are a veggie mix based ball like a veggie burger that is supposed to mimic the classic idea Swedish meatballs. This dish is interesting because it has tomato ragout which is similar to a pasta sauce, and isn't something you see many places. The dish itself is a mass-produced cafeteria style offering.. meaning it's cheap, but also is a little bland. The rice and mixed veggies are alright. Personally I think I'd prefer to eat the veggiedog to this, but it is a nice change.

Honestly underwhelmed, I’ve never had their meatballs but know all about the hype; it was not worth the hype. Not really a meaty taste, has a weird squishy texture that just didn’t sit right with me lol It did fill me up tho! And I wasn’t expecting the rice and veggies so that was a plus. I can’t even explain the taste which was just weird 😅
