If any place is offering a vegan dessert, I don't skip it! These tasted very good, a good punch of lemon although a bit dry. Maybe that's par for shortbread, Idk, but I've had better lemon cookies. I still ate them all though! #veganisnotscary

Accompanying my wonderful deli sandwich was this cous-cous salad. Perfectly cooked couscous, bell peppers, cucumbers, red onion, Chickpeas tossed in an amazing vinaigrette dressing. I may have liked this even better than the club sandwich, it was so good. Chilled and light and flavorful. #veganisnotscary

Harmony Plant Fare is a Plant based NY style deli located in Findlay Market in Cincinnati, OH. They had a multitude of deli sandwiches, sides, salads, dips, and desserts. Pictured here is the turkey bacon club and I would say the best vegan deli sandwich I've had to date. This was their special of the day, not usually on the menu. I am eager to return and try other things.

I would eat Harmony daily if I could. The Italian is A PERFECT sandwich. Their meat tastes unbelievable and all of the flavors work so well together. Not to mention the soft bread. My only gripe is the location is in the midst of a bunch of butchers and going into Findlay Market can be very taxing.

This was definitely a different type of gyro than I normally get at vegan restaurants. I ordered this knowing gyros are @gregcombs favorite, so we always have to order one. The #vegan gyro sandwiches we usually order have #dairyfree tzatziki and lots of fresh cucumber, tomato, and lettuces. This however was a VERY meaty #seitan gyro. It's also really messy! 😄 This pita was filled with shaved marinated seitan, muhammara, pickles, onions, spinach on a really thin pita bread. The muhammara was definitely a little #spicy for me🌶 but it was delicious. It's made from walnuts, red bell peppers, molasses and bread crumbs. It has such a unique flavor. It was under $10 as well, so a great value! #gyro #veganisnotscary #abillionlove

This was the best #Italian sandwich I've ever had. 10/10 I definitely want to try more from this place next time I'm near Findley Market in Cincinnati, Ohio.📍 This has the best housemade #seitan ham & pepperoni. The seitan pepperoni was exceptionally good and I loved the Italian seasoning. This also had #dairyfree Provolone #vegancheeze, fresh lettuce, tomatoes, onions, banana peppers and Italian dressing on a #local 16 bricks bread roll. The flavor combination was great. We finally got to try sandwiches from Harmony Plant Fare! They did not disappoint at all. They were all so delicious! Harmony Plant Fare is located inside Findley Market in Cincinnati and just be warned ⚠️ this shop is in death row with the butchers. Next time, I will order ahead and pick it up so I don't have to look at all bodies while I'm waiting. You can call and place an order as they know their location within the market is upsetting This sandwich had the most delicious #seitan bacun, seitan turkey, #vegan white cheeze, lettuce, and a delicious spread all served on Ciabatta bread. It had so many flavors, and their sandwiches are so reasonably priced around $8- $12. The portions are also large. This #vegangyro was a little different than a traditional, consisting of: Shaved Marinated Seitan, Muhammara, Pickles, Onions, Spinach on their Pita Bread. Muhammara is the orangish somewhat spicy spread w the consistency of hummus and typically made of walnuts, red bell peppers, pomegranate molasses, and breadcrumbs w sometimes lemon. I actually could barely taste it and as you can see in the pics, the sandwich was mostly marinated seitan w little other ingredients, but I was fine w it. Their pita was more of a naan consistency, light and airy vs the thicker , denser more bready pita often found at Greek restaurants. I’ve had both at Mediterranean restaurants and like both. At $11 it was a fair price due to the size and it did taste good. They have other more deli-type sandwiches with more veggies and flavor, as can be seen in the pics, but I usually gravitate towards the gyro, so glad I tried it. This was a regular vegan mac & cheese, and it was #delicious! I’m only saying regular, because Liz’s previous review for the dish mentions pimento, and it had an orange tint, whereas this one was a regular cheese, so there may be soma variations. It was cold, straight from the deli case, but still really good, and sure it would’ve been even better if warmed up. Also, it was just $8 for this large portion, which was surprising, and you can buy a whole pan for $16. Sorry, no pic of the case.. If you’re not familiar with Harmony Plant Fare, it’s a New York style deli in Finley market. It’s an old style open live market and have never had the time to explore, but there seems to be numerous butcher and fish shops in the main aisle, so be prepared. Lots of seating outside and the couple times I’ve been, there’s been live music outside and also some arts & craft vendors. I honestly don’t know much about it, but will definitely be back. Harmony Plant Fare is a hidden gem inside Findlay Market. Everything is made in house. Everything is delicious. And the people could not be more kind. Highly recommend.
