This “chicken rice” set always hits the spot. The beancurd is really tasty with some crispy skin and the chili sauce pairs well with the flavourful rice and the beancurd. Love the acar and steamed broccoli as well. #veganchickenrice #localfood #greendotsg

Tried the Kampung Nasi Lemak, a limited time item at Greendot for Singapore’s 60th birthday this year! This was a yummy dish with included pandan rice, vegan anchovies, peanuts, sambal, tempeh and petai, giving it a delicious cruelty free twist on the local favourite nasi lemak. Pretty CNY-themed 5" konnyaku jelly cake with mandarin oranges. But this was hard to slice with the uneven texture - overly floppy in some parts and too tough in other parts. Still, appreciated the existence of this vegan CNY treat even if the execution was a bit #fail. Damage was SGD 14.80 for this jelly. #cnyfood

Finally got to try these vegan kaya buns from Greendot One Raffles Place... how severely underwhelming though. The buns came with no egg wash and were soft enough (you wouldn't have thought they were vegan at a glance). But the pumpkin kaya filling lacked oomph - it was more akin to clumpy custard rather than pandany coconuty kaya. Sorry! Looks like my search for vegan kaya that hits the spot has only just begun.

How can it be that I've taken so long to try Greendot? Well, for one I guess I was always lured by the lion mane shroom rendang option on its menu - except that is vegetarian and not vegan, so I would just walk away without getting anything. As fate would have it a last-minute Xmas Eve celebration with the kid and dad led me to this hasty takeaway since they ordered a real turkey. I can't say I was wowed by these noodles - the broth was more soy sauce than herbal to me. But it was decent. I'm just grateful for Greendot staying open at 5pm in the CBD on Xmas Eve, that's all. Now, can anyone tell me where I can find a tasty lion mane mushroom dish in Singapore that's 1. not fried and also 2. vegan? Thanks in advance. #sgvegan

Greendot is a safe choice when I don’t know what to eat. Food is generally flavorful yet clean-tasting. The sweet & sour “meat” and eggplant are my favourites as they are very appetizing and go well with rice. Top marks for presentation/packaging! #singapore #vegetarian #sweetandsour
