This consisted of double Impossible Foods patties blended with onions and herbs, melty Follow Your Heart cheddar cheese slices, vegan Thousand Island dressing, and rich, flavorful, decadent, veganized French Bordelaise sauce. Bordelaise is a classic French reduced red wine sauce traditionally made with veal stock and butter. How wonderful that we can enjoy this amazing vegan version without harming any animals. This is a special for Veganizer PDX’s World Vegan Month celebration and a portion of the proceeds will benefit Oregon Humane Society, which provides animal adoption, education, medical, and humane law enforcement services. Owner Eric Bowler volunteered at Oregon Humane Society as a kid and adopted his dog from there. (Gluten free version available)
