Food Republic was founded on the concept of serving well-loved street food housed in the air-conditioned comfort of shopping malls. Since the opening of its first flagship outlet in Singapore at Wisma Atria in 2005, the brand has revolutionised the food court scene in Singapore by being the first to introduce quintessential thematic dining experiences, bringing together the best of hawker and restaurant fare under a single roof. nubad veg set from caifan stall for five bucks ! tad ex but its touristy area so.... anw, got a mix of veggies and tofu. the chilli is g too. g amount of spice :)

One off purchase #forthedollar at a staggering $2.50 for a 4cm strip of #fishpaste wedged between #deepfried (shorter than the norm) #dough #fritter. A lil upselling gimmicky but it did redeem itself in the taste department, texturally well contrasted and perfectly seasoned #sweetdreamsaremadeofgrease #youtiao

Thank you, tankcute. Long overdue bug fix for Android, no more hopping back to top o clock 😉 $2.20 for plasticky dine-in sans #brownsugar. It costs more to employ human labour than to discard and disregard #soya #sugarfree silky smooth with a nice touch of added #soyamilk 😋

Verified there was no egg innit. The filling tasted quite good! Right level of moisture, soft curried potatoes. The puff skin not too thick, it was quite light. Maybe only con was that this lot of fried stuff were quite costly, I bought four items for $7.50 haha

Verified with stall holder, she said all the products were 素的. This carrot was not too bad! Crispy(deep fried) on the outside and medium soft on the inside. Arteries clogging food but tasty.

Tasted ok but maybe I bought it at a later hour so the you tiao was slightly cold already. Still good, held the shape and texture well, not soggy. Had this with my porridge, yummy.

Do visit the store in vivo as the outlet is closing in end June!! Had Leicha (Thunder Tea) kolomee with additional sides of fried wantons, yamcakes and carrot cake! The noodles were QQ and tasty, with the ingredients of dou miao, small tofu cubes, grated peanuts, steamed cabbage and chopped long beans making the dish a complete one. Not super filling but good enough. Add a bit of sesame oil and light sauce, and it becomes delicious and easy to finish everything up quickly. Do drink the leicha slowly as it can get grainy with the residue in it. The wantons felt more like crackers given how little the filling was, while the sides (yam and carrot cakes, braised radish) were okay. Overall just for the noodles alone i think its worth it to drop by and try!

Being the carb monster that I am, ordered extra rice 🍚 as an extra side. If you are particular abt health nutritional ratings /options, this is found at the thunder tree stall which offers other organic healthy veggie dishes. Although I’m just glad for extra rice option hhaaha It was $1 for half a bowl, $1.50 for a full bowl. Fancy name, and promoted as having sesame seeds, but errrr it just felt like normal white rice to me…. Idk if they served me wrong or they ran out or is this rly brown rice??? So different from the red/brown wholegrain rice I have at home. But not a fan… 😓😶🥴
